The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
